Elise Überbacher-Minatti 1921
"Travelling companions" - a special exhibition of the Touriseum
01.06.-31.12.2023
Meet Elise Überbacher-Minatti, who looks back on her time as one of Tyrol's most famous hoteliers.
“Good day to you! Are you waiting for someone too? I am waiting for my guests. In times like these it’s important to take personal care of those few who can still afford to stay at my establishment... May I ask you something? What do you see when you look at my hotel over there? Just some old walls? Or the famous Grand Hotel, as it once was? For me it is so much more than that... Would you like to know how it all began?”
